Booking Terms – Mimosa Lodge Bed & Breakfast, Cowes Isle of Wight

These Booking Terms are between Mimosa Lodge Bed & Breakfast, 59 Baring Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8DW our officers, employees and agents (‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the Booking (‘You/Your’).

These Booking Terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings except where We agree in writing to any other terms. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept and be bound by these Booking Terms.

Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You.

We will accept a reservation when We have confirmed Your reservation and received full payment of the total accommodation price quoted to You or in the event that We require a deposit equivalent to the value of the first night stay, when We have received full payment of the total value of the deposit or any other amount that We specify at the time of booking. Where a deposit is paid or any other amount that is less than the total value of the stay, the balance will be paid by You directly to Us on either check-in or check-out or at an earlier date if so requested.

You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18 years of age to make a booking. Bookings must be paid for using a valid credit or debit card or any other payment type specified. When Your Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained for access to Your Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary.

Prices- Rates are per room per night, Bed and Breakfast

Cancellations – For Major Festivals & Regatta’s (ie Cowes Week) A deposit equal to one night’s stay per room booked, is required to guarantee a reservation. Thirty days notice of cancellation is required for a full refund. If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of arrival You will be charged in full for the whole booking.

Cancellations – For all other dates.  A deposit equal to one night’s stay per room booked, is required to guarantee a reservation. Seven days notice of cancellation is required for a full refund. Please note we’re a small business and rely mostly on forward bookings, so cancellations can have a significant impact on us. If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival You will be charged in full unless we are able to re let Your room(s).

We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel. Payment – The total amount payable to confirm Your Booking is quoted in Your Booking Confirmation and will be charged to Your credit or debit card or PayPal account or any other payment type offered at the time of Booking. Mimosa Lodge Bed & Breakfast will be recorded as the merchant of record on Your card statement. Conditions of stay – Mimosa Lodge is a no smoking house – all bedrooms and public areas and of course the dining room. Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your booking plus an additional £200 for specialist cleaning to your room. Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room/s plus the card fee. Damage to Mimosa Lodge, whether reported or not will be charged using the card details given to secure the booking. Unfortunately this includes replacement mattress costs for bed wetting. Please ask for waterproof mattress protector if you are in any doubt.

Pets – Although we appreciate our animal friends, pets are not allowed at Mimosa Lodge. Sorry! Acceptable Behaviour – We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests.

Private parking is free during your stay and is at your own risk. We will not be responsible for any damage or theft incurred while parking on our premises.
